The Ifield area of Goulburn, on the southern bank of the Wollondilly river, was the site of several market gardens for most of the twentieth century. These were operated by various families, including Harvey, Kerr and Kadwell, with gardens situated in and around Albert Street, William Street, Gibson Street, and Buffalo Crescent North.
