Wynella is a Georgian homestead, built c.1850 by Daniel Thorn/Thorne on the property of Thornleigh. The house is located 4 km south west of Goulburn, on the southern side of Mulwaree Ponds. It is on the current site of Goulburn's abattoir, having been purchased in 1947 by Goulburn Council Abattoirs, from the estate of the De Lauret family.
