Books
Subject: This report outlines the method and results of a survey commissioned by the Industrial Development Committee of the South-Eastern Regional Advisory Council, to determine how best to promote the economic development of the Goulburn region. It was recognised that a labour availability survey would indicate what surplus labour resources were available and would provide some indication of the extent to which secondary industry could readily establish in the area. With new industries already entering the area, it became important to ascertain whether there were people available for immediate employment.
