Goulburn has a long and illustrious sporting history, and with 14 March 2013 being Goulburn's 150th Birthday it is a relevant occasion to reflect on the achievements of our sports men and women both past and present. The Goulburn Sporting Exhibition was mounted in the Goulburn Regional Art Gallery from 5th-30th March 2013, featuring past Olympians and representatives of all forms of sport. Some of the best known athletes from around the region including Edgar 'Dunc' Gray (cycling), Michael Diamond (Shooting), Glenn Turner (Hockey), and Todd Carney (Rugby League), and are featured alongside many others whose successes and achievements are revealed, including legendary horses who have competed on the track or in the Olympics.
