Subject: The Riley family archives is a collection of material donated to the Library in 1995. William Russell Riley was a journalist, editor and part owner of the Goulburn Herald from 1858 to 1899, when he was succeeded by his son, Mr Alfred E. Riley. The material relates to the history of Goulburn, and consists of personal writings, Goulburn Post newspaper articles, and resources and information collected by Mr Riley. Some material is undated and unsourced.
