The report contains an overview of the existing location and limitations of the administrative offices of Goulburn City Council in 1983. Three options are proposed for the future development and/or redevelopment of these offices and other Council-owned facilities. This includes the building of a new Civic Centre which would compromise an existing heritage listed building, Brackley, located at 184-186 Bourke Street, Goulburn. The submission seeks the approval of the Heritage Council of N.S.W. to consider the possible demolition, or potential for restoration and re-development of "Brackley" as part of the new Civic Centre complex, taking into consideration the building's architectural and historical significance.
